The Design Studies Institute offers a professional certificate program with three concentrations and two graduate degree programs. Explore our academic programs and see how they align with your own creative ambitions and career aspirations.
Admission to each of Design Studies Institute’s programs requires meeting a specific set of admission requirements. It is important to understand the application requirements for the program you are interested in and to make note of upcoming application deadlines.
Submit your Application
Create your account in our Admissions Portal at
apply.designstudies.institute.
Complete your admissions application by submitting the required application materials for your Academic Program. Unofficial documents, like transcripts or English proficient test scores, can be used as part of your application. Official documents are not needed at the application stage.
All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable Application Fee of $50 (USD) at the time of application submission.
Applicants may also be invited to participate in an interview with the admissions committee or with faculty members upon the submission of a complete admissions application with all required materials.

When an admission decision has been made for your application, you will receive an email notifying you that a decision has been posted to your Admissions Portal.
To accept or decline your offer of Admission, you will submit a reply to the offer of Admission within your Admissions Portal. To officially hold your place to start classes, you will submit payment for your first term's Course Registration Fee.
If you provided unofficial copies of your transcript(s) or English proficiency test as a part of your application, your acceptance will be contingent upon the receipt of official documents confirming your unofficial submissions.
