What is Tuition-Free?

The Design Studies Institute doesn’t charge tuition for our courses, course materials, or annual enrollment. You pay minimal fees as you go and complete your academic program at a pace that works for you.

To sustain our operations and provide excellent services to our students, we charge only modest application and course assessment fees, as well as a residency fee for graduate students attending onsite programs.

The Design Studies Institute is accredited and licensed, ensuring the highest of academic quality. Live, online and in-person instruction is provided from leading design faculty, scholars, and practitioners. You'll be taught in real-time; there are no recorded lectures here.

With students from countries around the world, you'll learn skills to help you thrive in the global design economy. Through small classes, you'll be supported by faculty and staff as you develop your global network of peers.
