Anna Bohren, MBA, serves as the Director of Operations at the Design Studies Institute, where she leverages over a decade of international experience in higher education leadership, program development, and operational excellence. Anna is dedicated to advancing the Institute’s mission by fostering collaborative, student-centered environments and driving innovative, data-informed solutions that enhance both academic programs and institutional effectiveness.
Prior to joining the Design Studies Institute, Anna held leadership roles at New York University, where she coordinated large-scale technology and management events in partnership with organizations such as the United Nations, Microsoft, and Google. She also advised on curriculum development for over 40 graduate-level courses, ensuring content remained at the forefront of technology management and professional education. Anna’s background includes significant contributions to international institutions, including the British Academy School Marrakech and SIST British Education, where she led recruitment, accreditation, and quality assurance initiatives across multiple campuses.
In addition to her university education, Anna is a certified CELTA instructor and has earned advanced credentials in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Fluent in Spanish and Moroccan Arabic, with working proficiency in French, Turkish, and Modern Standard Arabic, Anna brings a global perspective and a commitment to inclusive, transformative education to her role at the Institute.
