Dean’s Merit Scholarship for Excellence in Design
Students who demonstrate personal or professional design excellence will be considered for the Dean’s Merit Scholarship for Excellent in Design. Evidence of contributions to either the field of design or a specific professional industry in design should be indicated in an applicant’s admission materials to be considered for this scholarship.
Eligibility: There are no eligibility restrictions; all applicants from all programs will be considered for this scholarship.
Caribbean Design Ambassadors Scholarship
The Caribbean Design Ambassadors Scholarship supports students with strong ties to the Caribbean (Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Curaçao, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Martin, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Maarten, Suriname, the Cayman Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Turks and Caicos Islands) who have a demonstrated past or potential for academic or design excellence.
Eligibility: All applicants from all programs will be considered for this scholarship, given that the applicant has either earned an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from a Caribbean higher education institution, is a resident of or has citizenship in the Caribbean, currently has or has had extensive work assignments or experience in the Caribbean.
South Asian Design Ambassadors Scholarship
The South Asian Design Ambassadors Scholarship supports students with strong ties to South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, or the Maldives) who have a demonstrated past or potential for academic or design excellence.
Eligibility: All applicants from all programs will be considered for this scholarship, given that the applicant has either earned an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from a South Asian higher education institution, is a resident of or has citizenship in a South Asian country, currently has or has had extensive work assignments or experience in a South Asian Country.
DESIGN FOR SOCIAL IMPACT SCHOLARSHIP
To recognise students who have given time and service to their community, the Design for Social Impact Scholarship is for students who demonstrate how social justice and/or being a global citizen has informed their academic endeavors and design work thus far. Additionally, students awarded this scholarship are expected to pursue a capstone project or dissertation topic within the context of social justice, community service, or responsible global citizenship.
Eligibility: All degree (MDes & DDes) applicants will be considered for this scholarship.
